After the queueing and crashes of the Green Hell Driving Days (see more below), there’s only one full day of Public Driving still scheduled this side of November. And it’s this coming Sunday.
What’s on? Well, try some of this:
- Friday VLN practice, Saturday VLN9
- Saturday 12-pm to 4pm #CTMeet with BTG, Boosted Boris, Car Throttle and more..
- Sunday Touristenfahrten on the VLN layout, Nordschleife PLUS GP Track at no extra cost!
- Nürburgring Drift Cup ALL WEEKEND
I don’t expect queues like the ones below, but I’m hoping for some of that weather.
Because the news here is full of SNOW warnings! Though I should think it’ll be gone by the weekend.
There’s another VLN still to come, VLN 10 on October 31st. But no public driving that weekend. The calendar for TF is looking slim with a 3-week gap after Sunday until November!
As an aside I also saw one of these flying over the track:
I could lecture you about how the Nürburgring is a very special no-fly-zone that requires a whole bunch of paperwork, insurance, and a proper flightplan for any drone (even the sub-5kg personal drones). But I will restrict myself to this… just don’t fly it over the actual track while people are driving on it please. That should be common sense!
