That oddly metallic amber (Burnt Sunset, alledgedly) Corvette ZR1 is back testing at the 'ring. Whoever's driving, they're certainly not looking for laptimes* as they're above the 8minute mark consistantly. But let's not obsess on laptimes, or how that particular driver is over 30 seconds behind Suzuki-san's GTR lap... instead lets just listen to that supercharged V8 do it's thing. Oh, yeah, that's it baby... right in my ear....

Have no doubt, when GM get their act together and are ready to throw this car around the track at race pace, it should be a real contender for the King of the 'Ring crown. And stood shoulder to shoulder with cars like the Porsche 997 GT2 and Nissan GTR, it's in good company... more as soon as we hear it...
