The original Lola T70 was around 700kg with with 550-600bhp. It was a sportscar living life to the full back in the 1960s. This re-incarnation is, I'd almost certainly say, even better!
It's a Gardner Douglas T70, built in the sleepy county of Rutland, England. Nothing sleepy about this little motor though; it's got a Chevrolet LS-series V8 knocking out over 700bhp to the rear pair of Toyo 888s. The chassis looks amazingly true to the original, but use of larger tubing and more rigid design means that (I think) this is around 75kg-100kg heavier than the original. But it's all good, as the modern chassis and power combined with the 'old-school' aeros and driving experience all come together in beautiful harmony for the next 9 minutes of your life... volume button to 11...

The BMW E92 M3 GTS - the ultimate trackday car for those rich buggers who don't like Porsches and want to stay true to the BMW roundel. I have no doubt there will be a few regulars here at the Nordschleife switching to these machines, even considering the eye-watering €140,000 price tag!
This is not a new car, it's just a very nice looking one. And nice sounding too (video and more pictures on the 'Read more' button)...

Could these be shots of a new 'M1' BMW? This wide-body prototype was moving fast around the Nurburgring during the industry testing sessions! With CSL wheels, a disguised roof panel and a BIG rear axle, this could surely be the M135i we've all been hoping for...

These could well be the first shots of Subarus sedan or saloon-styled Impreza STi testing in anger. Spotted today on a later-than-usual lunchbreak, this white beastie was lapping the Nürburgring Nordschleife aggressively, but certainly not aiming for a laptime yet!
EDIT: More analysis reveals that this could in fact be the newest prototype of the expected Spec-C model. This would be the lighter, more powerful version used as the basis for competition cars all over the world.
Shoop says: "Turns out you have snapped pics of the first spec c version. The fog light covers, lip, and(I think)black wheels were never debuted at the show."
