SLS chasing down last year's champion

Earlier today the Eifel echoed to the sounds of the VLN testing. It was quite frankly fantastic to hear. And as for the new metal on display? Glorious. Jochen from frozenspeed.com was on hand to bring us these amazing images of the day. Thanks Jochen!

And this is the crazy Ferarri-powered P4/5 Competizione preparing for the 24hour race. Based on a Ferarri Enzo, the original street car was a one-off presented to the public in 2006 by Pininfarina. The version we see here is the competition, based on an F430 Scuderia. And it howls...

The shell of the car comes from a F430 Scuderia, that way the owner Jim Glickenhaus can register and drive it on the road after it's racing career. The engine, gearbox and suspension come from a Ferrari 430 GT2. So it's definitely has some potential, the Farnbacher Ferrari 430 GT2 came second in last years 24 hour race.

If you mean; do I think Jochen's photos are great, and has Jochen generously supplied these shots FOC, then yes, fulfil your wildest homoerotic fantasy.
