BMW recently launched the new 6-series coupe, but today at the Nurburgring Nordschleife a couple of slightly different-looking 6-ers appeared during ipool. As you can see from the photos, these cars are wearing a deeper, more aggressive chin spoiler with exaggerated brake ducts underneath their LED foglights. In the video at the bottom of the page, you can also see a black machine with lightweight alloy wheels as well.

Compare these shots to a standard 6-series front-end that I also photographed this morning on the Nurburgring Nordschleife during testing:

I'm not sure about the bumper design; can't see that catching on. Hopefully it's just an option.

Yep, the black one in the vid was the M6, but my 2004 camera threw an error everytime I saw it!

... all brand new, updated or facelifted Bimmers always wear this type of camouflage; sometimes just parts of the body are under "camou", sometimes the whole body. Currently these days they changed from total camouflage to half-part, still hiding the new 1 series. It´s always interesting to pass Schleißheimer Straße in Munich at the pedestrian light when such a car stops in the 1st row...then it´s worth to stop and wait until they accelerate under green...especia lly when they´re testing the new biturbo M5 or M6...it´s my daily sidewalk in the morning, just 500m from the entrance of FIZ, the development center in Munich....
