I expect zero sympathy for my pangs of jealousy, but I thought this small thing was worth sharing. I'd love to tell you the name of the gentleman showing me his iPhone and Harry's Laptimer readouts, but my simple English brain couldn't understand the complicated Swedish syllables.

Yep, this guy is driving the awesome ACR Viper, and he's doing some pretty tidy laptimes too. He's one of many lucky b*stards driving on the super exclusive Gran Turismo Nürburgring event. Tomorrow I hope to escape my office, emails and to-do list and bring you some more photos, videos and MAYBE the above guy's name. Spelt correctly.

BUT... If my numbers come up one day, and I get to do that dream car-shopping trip, you'd better believe that a Viper ACR will be topping my list of cars as an 'everyday ring tool'.

Well, at least I did that track set for Harry's Laptimer but I'm jealous too :-(

Just looking at the picture again...two questions: wasn't that track day on the complete circuit including gp? How comes he then chose the track layout without DöHö? Very impressive lap times...but the fastest one is the one with the most intermediate times (6). Are all of those times really with the gp track?

The laptime was a BTG Nordschleife lap done on the day before the GP trackday :)
