It's been reported that the Lexus LFA Nürburgring edition has turned in a 7m14s lap of the Nordschleife. If true that would make it the quickest production car ever to lap the Nürburgring Nordschleife... however, until we see proof (i.e. unedited video footage), the LFA will not be on the BTG Fastest Production Cars page.

See the only mildy erroneous-so-far report here (note how Autoblog thinks the GT2RS is the fastest car around the Nordschleife despite Porsche not giving anybody any proof for over 12 months).
