After 'Save The Ring' took a walk to the F1 GP hoping for more airtime, the counter-movement 'Love The Ring' is looking to gain momentum. As you might have guessed, I'm not really taking any sides in this fracas. But if it's going to inspire the Nürburgring management to do some cool stuff, like sending Andy in a formula car out on to a soaking Nordschleife with a camera - then it's fine by me. Video after the jump!

Picture the scene, rich guy in an awesome supercar. He emerges from the T13 pitlane on to the Nürburgring Nordschleife, floors the gas around the corner, powerslides, fishtails and gets his dab of oppo completely out of sync... <CRASH> A hundred-thousand euros of equipment and clamshell up in dust.
The chap hauls himself from the leaking mess of carbon-fibre and procedes to do what can only be described as the 'Sutil'-mince - a hip-swaying effeminate walk combining both nonchalence and regret... more photos and details after the 'read more' jump.

The runaway success story that is Destination Nürburgring continues unabated as this month's trackday event has completely sold out. Not a single place is available to book online for either of the two days. With over 250 cars per day and many more drivers, the organisers have also started an innovative inner and outer ticket system... more info after the link.

Earlier in the year we showed you photos and videos of Renaultsport's testing session at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. It was obvious that the guys were trying hard, and in the middle of the usual RS models lurked the red Megane pictured above. Now Renaultsport have released the name of this exciting new model, hinted at it's performance and given us a very cool video of the machine in action... full video and more details after the read more link.
