Rent4Ring have just taken delivery of a new type of sportscar for their Nurburgring hire car fleet; the German-made Artega GT. The monocoque-chassis sportscar is powered by a mid-mounted, 300hp, VR6 engine driving the rear wheels. It also has a DSG, double-clutch semi-automatic gearbox as well...
Of course, the regulars amongst you will probably know Rent4Ring best as the providers of properly prepped hatchbacks like the Suzuki Swifts and OPC Corsas.
"That's not about to change," says Fredy Lienhard, co-owner of the Nurburg-based rental company. "In fact for this year we have more Swifts than ever before, including the new 2012 model with many upgrades. But our two new Artegas will offer a fun challenge for the most experienced of our customers."
Rent4Ring's Artega GTs aren't just the 'standard' supercars, either. They boast uprated Bilstein PSS suspension, bigger brake systems with floating discs and Brembo calipers. And don't forget the rather loud sports exhaust that you can hear in the video above. Prices start from 549 Euro.
