Friday was practice day. Not just for the drivers of the 2013 Nürburgring 24-hour race, but also for me! This is my first major race meeting with the fabled access-all-areas purple bib. And yesterday was my first opportunity to use it...

This weekend it's the famous Nürburgring 24-hour race. But it's not just a day of racing, it's a huge 4-day weekend of action from the Nordschleife. Sure there's the 200+ grid of 24-hour racers, but there's also F3 cars on the GP track, Mini, Clio and Carrera Cup racing on the Nordschleife and some other stuff too.

And I'll be doing my best to bring it to your screens!
